Breeding Program

Our horse breeding program has always been focused on Superior Conformation, Gentle Disposition and Athletic Ability in quality registered Quarter Horses. We have gradually included in our program cutting horse bloodlines. This started with purchasing a young CD Olena stallion out of a money earning daughter of Haidas Little Pep and starting on a training regime. This had proven quite successful as Haidas Smoothie had earned his COA and has been cutting "with the best of them". To compliment the breeding program we purchased Mares that are own daughters of proven NCHA World Champions with records top and bottom. Unfortunately Smoothie has passed away in 2021. We did keep some brood mares that are daughters of Haidas Smoothie, were easy to train and will cross well with our new stallion - Son of Spots Hot.

We were fortunate to purchased a Son of Spots Hot a 2012 AQHA Stallion 🔥HOTTER THAN HOT🔥. Detailed info is on his page under Stallions. He has the looks, conformation and temperament that produces outstanding offspring. He will be available for frozen semen for 2023.

Our horses are managed on pasture all summer. In the winter they are fed top quality grass hay and oats. The breeding mares, stallions and growing young horses are also fed good mineral and vitamin supplement to support their extra nutritional needs. We follow a strict protocol for deworming, vaccinations, dental and foot care to ensure healthy, sound horses. Our foal crop is offered for sale privately at weaning time each year. They are handled gently and sent to their new homes healthy and happy for their new owners.

Our goal is to provide buyers with an outstanding, working or performance horse at a reasonable price. We are breeders that want our horses to be successful with the people that purchase them. We are members of AQHA, Manitoba Horse Council and the Manitoba Cutting Horse Association.
